Roots Of Bali

- Durata: 9 Ore (aprox.)
- Locatie: Sidemen, Bali
WHAT TO EXPECT
Explore the serene and green patchwork of Sidemen, where you will discover natural waterfalls, and immerse yourself in the region’s sustainable agriculture community. Here, you will learn the natural irrigation system of Subak farming. Try your hand at local handicrafts before a historical temple-visit.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The hotel pick-up at around 8:00 AM will bring you on a journey to Tibumana and Pengibul waterfalls for a fresh start in the water. Next, you go to Bali countryside, Bali’s leading eco-tourism centre. Here, you will have the chance to take on a cooking class; plough the fields with a buffalo like locals do; as well as practice traditional Balinese Sanskrit calligraphy in the shadows of Bali’s most sacred volcano, Mt. Agung. Enjoy an organic picnic lunch in the fields, before continuing onto Pura Kehen: a thirteenth-century royal temple built by the hands of the ancient Bangli Kingdom.
